| Here I have for sale a 1974 Volkswagen
Devon Bay Window pop top Camper project. The bus has a
running 1600 engine fitted and will drive onto a trailer, it will not drive
you home! The Van still has the the Devon bunks in the pop top hole, The engine starts
and runs and the van will move up and down my driveway, but will need lots
of TLC before it can be driven on the road. The van is basically solid
(compared to many uk vans) but needs welding and general bodywork
tidying. The
Van has been off the road since 2005 and so needs all the brakes going
through (they are dragging) and obviously a good service etc. As
you can see from the photos, one front lower step needs welding, one out
rigger has been cut off and so needs replacing and the section of wheel arch
next to it needs repair too. Both outer sills could do with some repair. The
Gutters are good, but there are some patches required on the roof, There is probably more that I haven't spotted. Someone has fitted a rear
corner on the drivers side and also inner and outer rear valance, but the
camper could do with the tin round the engine area finishing, the
cab doors are missing glass seals and fittings, the pop top is presently in
place but is not attached with screws etc but it is all there and ready to
re-fit but this is probably best done after the roof repairs - £2499 ono - 07974 100902
