	Bay window Camper project - 1974, RHD, VW High top with full height bulk heads, walk through, Was last on the road in 2004, has new floors welded in the rear and is mainly solid, needs new front arch (can be supplied with it), Engine out (can come with it) and interior missing, windscreen out (its in the back) as screen surround needs welding (the dash has been removed for access - again, comes with it), the bus is tatty, and much of the recent welding is to a low standard (but its 1/2 solid), you could get the welding finished quite easily and get it back on the road but to properly restore it to its full former glory would take a lot more! The engine is a 1600 T/P and was apparently removed for welding to the engine bay, This bus was built in 1974 but wasn't registered until 1/1/1976 and so is a P reg, - £1249 or £999 without the engine... 	SPLIT SCREEN - This is a 1965 VW Split Screen 11 window Microbus, it came here from Texas USA and arrived January 2008. It has been standing for about 20 years in the Warm dry state of Texas... It is basically solid and straight but needs work! It has a running 1600 Engine (engine of unknown condition, but it does run!), the brakes are all brand new (Cylinders, flexi hoses, shoes, master cylinder and fluid etc) and working but will need adjustment when bedded in,  It will need usual re-commissioning, The basic chassis is very solid as would be expected for a Texan van but there is some welding needed, but not major for a 43 year old! From a quick look over I can see it needs one outer sill, cab floors, rear floor areas a battery tray and outrigger repair and one cross member needs repair... there may be more, but the more I look at the bus, the more attached I get and want to keep it for myself...  weld it and lower it... So I've stopped looking! The bulk head spare wheel well has been cut as you can see (but I have a replacement in the photos ready for you to weld in) There are 6 pop out windows in the back, but most of them have rusty lower edges to the frames. The windscreen rubbers are new.  .. the US front bumper is straight as is the front panel, the roof has quite a lot of paint missing, so will need a good rub down or keep as is for that ratty look...    All duties / shipping and customs fees have been paid and the Van is in Bedfordshire, UK, so there is no reason not to come and take a good look at it with an expert to make sure it is exactly what you want! - My phone number is 07974 100902 - please speak to me! - £4499  all duties paid - paperwork all in hand and ready to register (once its MOT'd)... ...
